In 1855, a woman in England woke to find cloven footprints across freshly fallen snow in her back garden. The prints were apparently made by a two-legged creature whose trail continued for miles. Dubbed the “Devil’s Footprints,” the mystery of who or what created the prints was never solved. In March 2009, Jill Wade of Woolsery, Devon, woke to find cloven hoof prints in the newly fallen snow covering her garden. Scientists from the Centre for Fortean Zoology inspected the prints and are investigating, but the mystery of the Devil’s Footprints remains unsolved. Source: DailyMail.co.uk
